For those among us that couldn’t get to the unveiling at the 2002 Zappanale Statue Ceremony at Bad Doberan, these next two clips are the next best thing — featuring former band members Mike Keneally, Jimmy Carl Black, Bunk Gardner, Bob & Thana Harris, Napoleon Murphy Brock, Ike Willis, Roy Estrada, Candy & Bob Zappa, Pamela De Barres, as well as Wolfhard Kutz, the chief from the Zappanale. The first clip has an excellent, on-the-spot, bilingual improvisational rendition of “Help I’m A Rock.”
Kind of makes you wish you were there.
One wonders what the fuck Nigey Lennon was doing there.
It is my belief that she has no credibility whatsoever.
Maybe this

What was Janice Soprano doing there?
there is a bogus claim
that nigey lennon
performed with the mothers
at carnegie hall
i was there
she did not
whether she even knew frank at all is questionable
to have appear at the dedication ceremony is preposterous
she is a fringe character at best
At most, she was a bed mate; at least, a wannabe groupie. The fact that her name doesn’t appear ANYWHERE except where she provides it should be a dead giveaway. Anyway, just like we regular freaks, it goes to show that even FZ had to pay for his pooching…
Hey, I speak fluent German. One of these days I’m gonna get off my butt and go to a Zappanale. Any KUR aficionados been to one recently? Was it any good?
