  1. Very Groovy. Friday Boots are great.

Will the rest of the late show be posted next week?

I’ve never heard any of the legendary “Any Downers?” solos. On one site, some lovely human being assembled”Variation Variations” – one was a number of different versions of “Yo Mama”, another was “Wild Love” variations.

Are there enough good recordings of these “Any Downers?” solos to put together an “Any Downers? Variations”? to justify the effort?

  2. Whoops.

Disregard the part in the last post about “The rest of the late show”. I looked at the set list casually and didn’t notice that the “missing” songs are included in medleys and improvs

  3. For those interested in what the Medleys encompass without listening, or are wondering about other neat facts:

  5. there are not missing songs, they are inclued in medley 1 and 2-…Well, this is a nice fz recording, a- b+, good sound…

Thanks a lot for all of these friday´s presents.

I was listening to Los Angeles 84 (posted 3 or 4 weeks ago), the sound is really delicious.

  6. By the way: what did Norma Jean Bell do here?.. I had only one quick chance to listen to it, but hardly recognised her at all. Did you? (Maybe some singing in Chunga’s Revenge?…)
I also read somewhere that she was in the band from september, while from an other source I’ve found that she was only a guest. Where’s the truth, friends?

  7. Thank you! Those are the pages I’ve found, too, but you see, the UniMuta says: “a part of Frank Zappa’s Mothers Of Invention from september 1975 until the end of the year”
    I’ll check Dirty Love, thanks!
