On Thursday, January 20, 2005, George W. Bush will be inaugurated as president of the United States — AGAIN. For a nation that prides itself on being the land of the free, these are some interesting factoids to peruse. I’d like to see a lot of backs turned to the presidential vehicle on the 20th January…
I hesitate to stick my nose (and yellow teeth, garlicky breath, sausage (eh ?), etc ) into others affairs but it does seem electoral reform is desperately needed for there to be any credible democratic process in operation in the US.

And rest assured that whole lots of the 48% per cent of us will be dedicated to making sure that Bush has a VERY hard second term. It’s revolting and insulting that he won, but….god punishes people by granting their wishes, sometimes, eh?
