No, sadly for me, I’m not on an exotic island getting pleasantly drunk while socializing with pleasantly built local beauties. Instead, I’m (re)reading this. I’m also wondering whether it’s true that FZ’s idea for 200 Motels came to him from running his foot across a used condom on a sidewalk on Hollywood Boulevard. Also, with every day passing, I am more relieved not to be living in California. Oh, and for reasons unknown to me, I’ve been listening a lot to Steely Dan lately. Does that make me a bad, bad boy?

Too bad about the script at chthonicionic. I entered Aftermath, one of my true favorites (Stones, 1966), and it thought I was talking about some stupid Billy Bangs album. Credit where due: it went on pretty well about Forever Changes.
