Kill Ugly Radio | Frank Zappa & Elsewhere: Frank Zappa news, weird links, lumpy gravy. Wanna bun?

Sid Peacock

March 19th, 2007 • Barry's Imaginary Publisher

If you’re into the likes of John Zorn and Frank Zappa, you may well enjoy Sid Peacock’s music. Free Albums Galore says:

Like Zorn and Zappa, Peacock’s music takes unpredictable turns going from melodic jazz tunes to guitar rock riffs to noise in seconds.

“You Can’t Buy Everything Forever” is a free sampler album available at WM Recordings. Download all 7 tracks here.

I remember thinking one of the tracks was fantastic, one opened WAAAY too much like a Zappa piece, and the rest were very very good.
So yeah, good call on this one. :-)
