Since Jingle Bells is a little overdone this time of year, I thought Tchaikovsky’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” would be a great alternative. At first I didn’t think it could be done, but as I recorded sounds from my road bike and mountain bike it started to take shape.
See a smidge of Conceptual Continuity emerging? Thought so. (via)

Splendid! Follow the link to the guy’s website and read the bio. Splendid!
So Barry…
The consultancy fee is in the post!
Can PHP check for when a new image had been uploaded and then trigger a page refresh rather that an iffy timed refresh… if you see what I mean.

Oops! You can probably see better here.

Splendid, indeed! That’s quite amazing to be able to reproduce those sounds with such clarity from bike parts.
Frank improv’d a piece, while this guy covered one.

Sorry about this, Barry : Zorn was in Brussels this week, with his trio Moonchild ( Mike Patton / Baron/ etc. ).
Yes indeed another conceptual continuity.

A quote from Barry’s Imaginary Publisher:
Erh, please elaborate? What “new” image? The way you do this is to either upload the player “off” or “on” .jpg? Why not just update the html page and upload that? Unless I’m missing something…

A new image containing details of the current track is created by Now Playing and automatically uploaded. I wanted to check when that newly uploaded image arrived and then refresh the page/image when needed rather than the current constant timed refresh which does not seem very elegant and distorts the page hits count alarmingly.
I was planning to watch the uploading images - assuming they varied slightly in size then perhaps aftp_size check would show when the image had changed. Bad idea? Something simpler? Discovered yesterday I also have ASP to play with/screw up

The Portland Bike Ensemble plays free improvised music on amplified bicycles. Sounds more than weird…
