I was there too.
Yes, the guitar had (obviously) a different sound, the typical clear and polite sound of a classic stratocaster.

THANKS BALINT for the pic of the bass player, Pete Griffin! I went to high school with him and played in a band with him for years! He’s been a huge zappa fan for a longtime and the fact that he can play in the ZPZ band at all is a dream come true for him! He’s having so much fun!

oh, i was there too. Had a brief chat with joe travers afterwards, will write about it as soon as i have some time.
(PS: italian zappafans are really amusing, they get pissed off so easily ;-) )
