    Yep, the 1988 band was probaby the most competent and accomplished..but I dunno, the Mothers in 1968/69 were the most challenging and OUT THERE, and the 1973 band(s) just felt the best – happy, feeling good about the music.

  7. You know something? I have been very patient with the ZFT for a VERY long time now.
    I have defended Gail here and there with regards to the releases. I just went to the Zappa website and saw the “interviews” section on the FZ link. It’s been a decade or more since that was installed on the website.
    Nothing.

    Gail has photos and video and interviews and EVERY-FUCKING-THING. If she’s not interested in the money then post a FEW Frank photos from time to time. It takes MINUTES to update a website. Stick up a video of Frank cooking some fucking SHRIMP or something. SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I’ve just discovered this website…damn it’s great, and for me that I’m 23 yo, having the possibility to listen to these live of Frank is just amazing…I love is music so much but I’m so sad when I think about the fact I wont be able to see him in my life.
