The Zappa Plays Zappa concert in Vorst Nationaal which was to take place on November 11 has also been “postponed”, according to Go For Music. Someone on the Dutch Zappa-List posted the following (his source unclear to me): “The reason for the delay is that the Zappa family has recently found unknown audio & video which they would like to incorporate in the show. This caused a considerable delay in the pre-production of the tour.”

It’s not the audio & video they’re having trouble incorporating: it’s the former Zappa band members!
Well I think it might be a case of over-estimating interest. They hired nothing but very big venues, and now ticket sales are below expectancy. What to do? Postpone scheduled dates!
