    Great idea. There’s only one problem: if you take an LP cover, no matter how ancient and funkadelic, to Kinko’s and ask them to make a copy of it, they’ll most likely tell you they can’t “reproduce copyrighted material.” I’ve had them hand me this line when I was trying to get photocopies from my own books and articles (with the copyright listed in my name)!

    Ah but in this case you wouldn’t be asking for copies: just ask the guy at Kinko’s to run the spiral binding thingy through your original album cover. No copyright infringements there, no?
