Le Zenith
With thanks to Gilles here’s another luscious live recording from the ’88 band – in France of course, where else: Le Zenith, Montpellier, 18/05/’88 (Part I). Have at it.

Thanks again, Barry! BTW, did anyone here catch the Zappanale Webcast over the weekend? Or, better yet, did anyone here get a chance to go? I’m in L.A. (boo hoo), and couldn’t get there—next year, though, I swear! Aside from the constant “buffering, buffering,” I enjoyed it immensely—especially Napoleon, Ed and Roy last night. I’m interested to hear what you guys have to say.

Heya Mario! I managed to hear (NOT see!) about two hours of it. After that when I tried to log on to the webcast again, the fabchannel site just froze on me… I’ve read in some places that the line-up programmation was rather mediocre this year; would you agree with that?

Barry–beggars can’t be choosers. I’m just happy to catch ANY FZ-related stuff live. I don’t get the chance too often, and the Webcast was just what the doctor ordered. The interesting thing for me was that it fell on the same exact day that I saw FZ for the last time–20 years ago! I saw Frank six nights in a row at the Hollywood Palace, July 17-23, 1984. At this point, I’ll take what I can get!
