Recently got hold of the latest offerings from the Magic Band and the Grandmothers.
IMHO, the MB are cookin’ with gas (check it out Bob) and the GMs ain’t no slouches either; nice Don Preston compositions (Napi in fine voice Dr Sharl).

Yes, I have the BTTF, MB disc and find it to be truly amazing. These guys have it down and sound fresh. I was worried when French started singin’, because I expected this to be instrumental only. He has spent a lot of time in his basement with old tapes and a mirror! I do find myself missing certain pieces, though. Where have you gone Ed Marimba?
