Save Internet Radio!

America’s fledgling Internet radio industry could be effectively killed on May 21st if the Librarian of Congress accepts the recommendations of its recent Copyright Arbitration Royalty Panel (“CARP”) concerning Internet radio royalty rates and sets impossibly-complex recordkeeping requirements.
You can write against this to your representatives (in the States) or as an international listener from this site.

Don’t miss

…the fantastic RAs in The Chrome Dinette! In addition to the semipermanent collection, there’s gonna be an entire album each month (during May: Does Humor Belong in Music, which i’m enjoying right now)

On a side note, in their links section, there’s also this lovely site On Ruth! which i’ve never seen before, dedicated to the wonderful Ruth Underwood, made with real fondness. She deserves!
