Creationism is spreading to Denmark also, of course as the “intelligent design”-thesis pretending to be NOTHING like Creationism. -They don’t want to tell us that God created the earth, just that he, or somebody else, MIGHT have.
Recently there was a tv-debate between a university professor defending intelligent design or “the phenomenological approach”(ha!), and a female science-journalist. She was great (and a bit arrogant), he was pathetic and kind of submissive (or humble…). The sneaking attack-strategy.
Now this guy is cool (and a new yorker-socialist at that): http://youtube.com/watch?v=8uBAPbOWLxc

The previous Christian Dutch minister of science proposed to investigate intelligent design last year. One of her reasons for doing that was that there were complaints from Muslim biology students that our universities tought them stuff that contradicted the Quran.
Religion, ANY religion, just doesn’t like science. I guess it’s hard, being a believer in the real world.
