A couple of years ago I learnt that Beafheart was very ill. Is he still alive?
That’s the kind of artist current major media do not mention. Just too stubborn. Even when he would die.

he’s incredilby reclusive, he likes his privacy. nobody knows for sure how he is, not even old members of his band.
it is generally accepted that he is ill, and almost definitely unable to perform.
i’m sure that when he does die there would be some kind of announcement.
