Metallica’s Lars Ullrich has finally lost all contact with planet earth, taking legal action against independant Canadian rock band Unfaith over what they feel is unsanctioned usage of two chords the band has been using since 1982 : E and F.

Hmmm, I’ve been using E since 1963 although it was probably sometime in 1964 before I mastered F as well. Could I get some credit for Metallica’s songs? I got into B minor at around the same time, I wonder what royalties I can get from that?

Even though, Armstrong is facing a battle in this year’s Tour, I believe he will ultimately take his fifth, Ullrich will retire from cycling and concentrate on his heavy metal career. It’s impossible for him to do both well.
