This “snack” has been around for years, I can remember trying my first, and last, one in the ’70’s - they are absolutely putrid and I’ve always referred to them as Not Poodles.
They seem to have made a resurgence (regurgitation ?) recently amongst the student population where anything that is crap/tacky/cheap/retro is seen as being trendy.
I dunno, young people today !
