The man is a pompous idiot. Which is also how I would describe his musical endeavours.

I liked some of his instrumental stuff on the first record, but after reading an interview with him, I also saw him for what he is - a pompous idiot. You know what always confused me? Why he insisted on printing his name with the J. in the middle….I guess he didn’t want people to confuse him with the OTHER Yngwie Malmsteen!

I liked how he says “I don’t focking need this” (emphasis mine.) I guess Americans are the only ones who say “fuh-king”.

I thought the “You have unleashed the fury!” had a certain je-ne-sais-quoi.

One week ago I saw Yngwie on a children’s TV programme here in Sweden. Yngwie duelled with the host Allram Est. They took turns in playing the guitar as fast and powerful as they could.
PS. Allram Est is a doll that reminds a lot of some character from The Muppet Show. Yngwie couldn’t resist to outdo the doll.

Oh God! That’s GREAT!!! It’s kinda funny that he was so driven to duel against every guitar wielding, big-haired heavy metal shithead in the 80’s; now he’s duking it out with puppets. That is what I call poetic justice! I can’t wait until they make electric guitar soloing an official Olympic discipline…

What a pathetic asshole. I guess WE don’t need this.
