   He’s got an odd yet very skillful way of combining bass with chord picking using nothing but an open tuning – technique indeed!

   No, Ronnie’s a man. There was a discussion involving Ronnie over at Zappateers. But I agree, dude looks like a lady.
   Regardless of that, his playing is fascinating! I really enjoyed watching this again. I’m happy someone took the time to film this talent.
   I especially like the ‘Happy New Year’ video. Besides the interesting method of Ronnie’s playing, he makes all those moves while scanning his surroundings now & then. I’m sure my old neighborhood was nothing like areas in Botswana, but I can tell when someone’s watching out for their ass!
