Hmmmm. Had almost given up on seeing a clear path to freedomocracy and a Gail free zone where the open air bizarre of ideas is not corrupted by the sniveling marketplace of failed eugenics initiatives (numerous puns unashamedly intended). I’ll be dropping by more often now that I’ve bookmarked this tunnel on the Ted Stevens system of tubes formerly known as Al Gore’s Internet.
Bringing on the bomb for those less fortunate than us idiot bastard sons with heavenly bank accounts.
Breath deeply with Freon

A quote from Freon P. Sandoz:
Like a lot of other freaks, I am watching the outcome of this court case with much anticipation. The resulting judgment may well determine whether or not FZ’s music is celebrated by his fans, publicly, beyond 2010. While I’m definitely on the side of Thomas and Zappanale, it could go either way.

I just found ot what’s wrong with new KUR. No “contact” or email functionality. I was intending to tell you Barry, yes you, that KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra) has a great Zippo performance 7 days from now:

Guess you’ll never know then. Too bad.

Great current day composers.
Do I happen to be boring when I make a reference to the great B. Bacharach ’s music,? The deconstructed way.
One way of making new music is indeed about deconstructing the scores of the masters ( FZ, BB, etc.).
Have a look at http://www.amazon.com/Great-Jewish-Music-Burt-Bacharach/dp/B000003YTQ.
Just one example. “Alfie”, a very melodic BuBa song , is deconstructed into .. a drum solo. That’s the mirror image of attempts to turn a 13/8 score into 2/4., so to speak. Great experience.
FZ music still has to undergo that kind of genuine deconstruction. This goes beyond tribute bands. And this might both create & be a spur to new great art.
We should now start thinking further. Where’s new art? It exists. Examples are plentiful.
Never ever in human history available means for creating new art ( amongst others technology) have been more plentiful. Seize the opportunity.

Hopefully the Zappanale with go ahead, but I have a funny feeling a giant cheeseburger with the initials BK (not Burger King but something that sounds similar!..)is gonna land on it before it even gets off the ground!
