Question about a FZ 75 show
« on: March 01, 2007, 04:39:58 PM »

Hi  Grin
First post here and thought I'd see if anybody here has and has heard of this FZ show

30-Nov 1975, Auditorium Theater, Chicago, IL
120 min, Aud, B+/B
Intro, Stinkfoot, Dirty Love, How Could I Be Such A Fool?, I Ain't Got No Heart, I'm Not Satisfied, Black Napkins, Advance Romance, Honey Don't You Want A Man Like Me?, The Illinois Enema Bandit, Carolina Hardcore Ecstasy, Lonely Little Girl, Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance, What's The Ugliest Part Of Your Body?, Chunga's Revenge (incl Five-Five-Five riff), Zoot Allures, Filthy Habits (proto version, fast), Any Downers? (just a tease)

Now what interests the most about this show is Filthy Habits(proto fast version) as I love the song and have never heard a 75 version of this song. Any help would be appreciated and also want to thank Barry for allowing me to join this forum!!!

Well Mr Wildcard, what exactly is it that you want to know?  Apart from the fact that, yep, there is a fast proto version of Filthy Habits towards the end of this show  Wink   OK, the final notes of Zoot Allures segue straight into Filthy Habits pretty much as we know it.  Napoleon takes a sax break in the middle, Frank noodles briefly, and the whole thing lasts about four minutes.  Although faster, it is very recognisably Filthy Habits.  What is interesting is the Any Downers riff tacked on to the end to finish the concert.  And that's it really; fun to hear, but no match for the versions to come in a months' time.
