Civilisation Phase Demo III
« on: September 29, 2006, 12:25:29 AM »

Hello my friends!
Thanks to this forum and this beautiful people I expanded my Zappa collection rapidly in a last few years.
Thank you all (especially Barry for hosting this GREAT site)!
Now, I got two good news: one for me - one for you Wink
I am now on super speed adsl internet  Cool and I am able to download big files  Wink
So, I decided to start a new vine as a small contribute to our community.

I downloaded this from www.zappateers. com and I hope they won't mind I share this music with you.

Here's the original info:

"Since I have been informed that there may not be a lower-gen version coming to anyone here for awhile, I have decided to seed this version of the pre-release alternate version of CPIII. This includes several unreleased bits, mainly in the second half of disc two (more 90's dialogue and Ensemble Moderne).

THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE OFFICIAL RELEASE. The extreme high and low frequencies FZ often used in his Synclavier pieces are a bit much for the analog tape (something which may or may not be solved with a lower-gen copy). Plus, the official version has some bits not heard here, FZ's detailed liner notes and some of the best artwork ever to grace an FZ release.

I indexed the discs combining info from the list I received, the FZShows entry, the official release and a few personal decisions. The "Weirdo Discography" list is also included. I'm not entirely clear about whether the titles on the list I received and the "weirdo discography" were invented by fans or came from FZ.

Without further ado:

CPIII Demo 131.57 pbuzby

unknown (probably low) gen analog -> SONY Deck -> Goldwave (recording,
speed correct ts1 by -50 cents and ts2-4 by -100 cents) -> CDWav

For more info and other opinions, see http://lukpac.org/~handmade/patio/weirdo/cpiiiunreleased.html   "

Just remember : it is 2 audio discs set - no flac, no mp3, no SHN...
Just make a copy for yourself and pass the original to the next in line.
Best wishes from Croatia!

I would like to send this vine first to my Polish friend Bart, so...

Thank you Dimi for this mysterious Disk. Thank you KZap and please pardon me, wakarats, if I'd been watching here more closely my position on the vine would have been changed. Anyway it's headed your way now.
