ZPZ in Paris, New York, Toronto (flac)

Hi all,

this is my pleasure to announce this tiny package that landed in my pocket just yesterday:

2006 06 05 Paris;
2006 06 12 New York;
2006 06 16 -Toronto;



All in flac format, all in one DVD. The request is the same as before: do not convert into mp3, and promise to buy the official release(s) in the future.

You'll find reviews of theses shows here and there - the last one, the Toronto show is unfortunately without Napoleon, that means that Sheila Gonzales sang lead (have you heard about the "Sheila Gonzales Fan Club?...), and (hey-ho!) Steve Vai in Montana! More specialities are Stinkfoot and Pound For A Brown, and some audience participation in King Kong.

You migh wonder: "What about the Budapest show?" Oh yes, it's here in my vault, waiting for the glorious process of EQ-ing. So within a few weeks (or so) it will be available, too.

(note: all these above arrived from a friend who got it from a torrent-site (or what). Thanks to everyone.)

It has a note on the pParis show:

I got the raw material from a trade (thanks David D) in form of 3 WAV files, and made the tracks with Audacity.
No effects or filters or anything applied.

Unfortunatly, there are some missing parts
- Cut in middle of St Alphonzo's (we miss the terrific percussion frenzy) :
Since there is no way to close the gap, I left 2 tracks so you can burn it your way.

- Cut in middle of Zomby Woof (2.53.577)
Making one part of the two was admissible, you can hear the cut at 2.53.577. I made no other adjustment than append the 2nd part to the first with Cooledit.

Hope that someday we'll find a filler (or a whole new taping)

Received this from zappa.hu headquarters just today -- wonderful treat, many thanks Balint!
For those using iTunes though: you'll have loads of fun ID-tagging the multitude of tracks. I think I spent about an hour renaming tracks and assigning album titles to the tracks (01.aiff, 02.aiff, 03.aiff, etc -- oh joy!)

Ah well, all part of the game...

all I did is sent the DVD I got... :-)

Anyway, I didn't know the flac is listennable in ITunes. I won't tell (hehe) that I made mp3s of all these to my shitty mp3-player, and gave names to all the files, hehe. I thougth the flac is only to burn CD-s from them.
Would a vine of mp3-s be a sin?...
