Did you realise that Dweezil also announced the release of Trance-Fusion?

A thought on the mysterious Surprise Guests: (with) Sternly Accomplished Special Guests & Other People. In true Zappa fashion, in reverse this reads POGSAS. The Pogsas' are a tribe living in the Amazone forest, discribed as not a primitive tribe, but rather the survival of an exceedingly ancient racial group. http://www.wisdomworld.org/additional/ScienceAndTheSecretDoctrine/SeriesNumber54-of-103.htmlIs another Zappa experiment with rare sounds, as done before with the Tuva Throat Singers?

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. -FZ-

Frippe: thanks for the link! Believe it or not, I've been trying to search that Sundsvalls Tidning site for about 15 minutes just now, but for some reason the Sök button doesn't work in Safari (it sorta söcks if you ask me) Anyway: Flo & Eddie! Erh ummm okay...

The Flo & Eddie era is my least favourite period in Zappas career but they are growing on me. Very slowly though... Tickets for the Stockholm concert go on sale 13 June. I'll be there! Or maybe in Oslo. Or Copenhagen. Can't decide

So Frippe, where in the article you posted does it say that Flo & Eddie will be in the line-up? I searched the article, but couldn't find any mentions of them...

Assuming the boys will try to get as much ex-FZ in the band they can…what are we thinking for drummer? I’d imagine Chad. I’d love to see Bozzio but I’d have to think he’s pretty busy, although I don’t know how long his tour with Fantomas will last. Vinnie is probably committed elsewhere too, and Chad clearly has the much of the repertoire already at hand/in mind. Bass? I’d love to see Scott Thunes, but I believe he’s abandoned the bass and his participation may cause a refusal on other members. Patrick O’Hearn prefers not to fly, so that’s out…
More thoughts, j

I'd like to hear the signature voices of Ike and Nappi, but I think they're on Gail's shit list.

Ike Willis, Napoleon Murphy Brock, and Mike Kenneally would be a treat also along with Flo and Eddie. Scott Thune on bass is cool.

Nappi Ruthie and Dukey would be extremely nice musically, but most unlikely to get together ...hope the Flo and Eddie lineup doesn't try to be tooooo Holiday Inn as long as Dweezil can play and play
