I've started compiling FZ's tours - thereby heavily drawing from We're Only In It For The Touring, I should add (what a brilliant resource - proper attribution will be done on the Tours category page!). Anyway, here's an example of how I'm setting up the tour information: the 1988 tourOf note: - tour-page structure consists of the following components: * bandmembers * additional info ** special guests (if applicable) ** dates (from/to) ** stats (how many gigs, how many songs in how many cities across how many countries) * notes about this tour - the naming game: I'm entitling the tour pages like this: "Tours/1988", "Tours/1984", etc. When there's bandmember differences within a given year, I'm going with "Tours/1980 Autumn" and "Tours/1980 Spring-Summer" (for instance). From there, we might eventually drill down to show-by-show stuff but I figured I'd lay down the foundations first. Feel free to comment on this structure...

Well no; I changed my mind: when there's differences in line-up within one year, I keep the content on one single page, with appropriate subheaders. For 1980 for instance, I now have one page which lists bandmembers and additional info for both "Spring-Summer" and "Autumn".

Nobody? How are we going to convince UniMuta to make the switch to the Wiki Jawaka? By ignoring him?

This looks like an interesting way to list the various line-ups, yes. I'll see if I can put that table in a wiki-page. Oh, and there's no need for UniMuta to "switch" - he's got a great site going himself. It would be nice though to have him help out here and there at the wiki!

The way I see it, Barry, www.united-mutations.com is all about people that have played with FZ, or about people that play his music. So, yes, this should fit in the wiki perfectly. But, it should be obvious that I like discographies. I like albums, want to see the songs, the bandmembers, a picture of the album cover, ... I also like concerts, setlists, line-ups, etc. of all these people. Feel free to put everything you find in UM into the wiki. I would love to see the complete UM data in the wiki. As soon as I understand how the wiki works (I haven't read the contributor's guide yet), I'll start putting info in the wiki myself. That is, if the wiki structure permits it... -- UniMuta
