Ok, I have spent, used, expended and/or wasted more time than I wish, and have Token of His extreme on dvd, with nearly a 6mg bit rate ave, and all the tracks in order as listed on swipnet.se's lists. http://home.swipnet.se/fzshows/74c.html6/7-Aug 1974, Culver City, Los Angeles, CA 85 min, SBD, A+ Recorded at the KCET-TV studio in Los Angeles for the 'A Token Of My Extreme' TV-show, broadcast in December 1974. This version has no overdubs. 1. Dog Meat 2. Montana 3. George Duke Solo 4. Florentine Pogen 5. Stinkfoot 6. Approximate 7. Cosmik Debris 8. Pygmy Twylyte 9. Room Service 10. Inca Roads 11. Oh No 12. Son Of Orange County 13. More Trouble Every Day 14. Tush Tush Tush the video was taken from 3 sources, my own copies of Token and Dub room, and ones Ive downloaded. The sound has been edited and tweaked to the extent "I" enjoy, the video is as good as I can get it, some pristine studio quality, some , um, er, less, but overall dvd, dolby 5.1 ntsc. Figure out a way I can share this and its available. Its my favorite period, and after more renders than I care to admit, Ive done enough, on to bigger and better things for me. I have awesome software, knowledge, but poor hardware, and at 1hr 27 min, it takes me 58 hours to render mpg2, and 2 hours for the ac3, so if its not right, edit for a day and repeat? not. Its done! Ive also done sweden 73, munchin 78, barcelona 88, dhbim and next is mtv 81. Im re-doing barcelona as I got a very low generation vhs of it better than Ive ever had to start with. Speak up?!?!?! |

And now for some good old confession time: my DVD writer has bit the big one, so I am entirely unable to burn copies for myself. I had planned to purchase a new Mac G5 (with built in DVD writer), but I've had to postpone that purchase for a month... So, is there any way I could send the originals off to some kind soul who would mail me back home-grown copies? It might be Skoljic (who's next in line) but I don't want to lay that burden on him just because he's next in line... Anyone? Bueller? (If not, no prob, I'll just send the original discs off to Skoljic!) |
