Please please please - please, (did I say please?) when entering into a vine, please adhere to this format when signing up - and I mean literally:
Starter Of Vine >>> Next Recipient >>> Your Nickname
When you sign up for a vine, ALWAYS include that information in your reply. Heck: it's just a copy/paste with your name/nick appended to it. Without that, the vine will turn out to be a right mess...

I whole-heartedly agree. And please let's not get into the habit of publishing our postal adresses here on the forum. Let's get back to communicating it to each other ("the one before you" in the vine) via the personal message boards. Thanks... |

this might offend someone, but please enlighten me regarding the proceedings on this page. Yes, that's right! I'm new to this and seriously lagging behind on the conceptual continuity front. I understand that it's possible to share thoughts and materials here. Question is how? I'm happy to share material from my end and I would like to get access to stuff I don't have  |

The procedure is simple: start a new thread on the Uncle Beat board. As a subject title, provide something descriptive of what you're about to vine and in your message, provide a bit more detail about it. As a vinestarter, you just wait 'til someone signs up for it, then you ask for his address (via Private Message), and send it off. From there on, you sit back and watch how your offering travels across all corners of the world!  Signing up for a vine is equally trivial: seek out the last post of the vine you want to enter into and reply to it. Copy the entire "chain" so far and add your name to the end of it. From there on, sit back and watch how the offering steadily makes its way to your inbox! Hope that clears it up for you? |

Hi Ya Hozna! How do I add my name to the list of names? Its really simple: just copy/paste the previous list, and write your own at the end. If you'd like to share, offer something, you just start a thred, and all the others will make a nice, long chain after seeing what the offer is. I tried posting, but no luck What do you mean? You could not create a new thread? Just click on "new topic", and that's it... :-) Welcome here! |

Can somebody talk about or refer me to the forum where the topic of how to prepare a new big boot for sending through Uncle Beat ?
How can you get so much good stuff on one CDR ?
The only amount I know how to get on a 700MB is 80 minutes. Please let me know.

You can convert wav files to mp3. Mp3 files are compressed and there's a room for a few shows on one cd-r.
