For better orientation we (Barry, that is) could provide a sort of page FOOTER (on EVERY page) with links to the Biography, Discography, ... just to top section of the Wiki tree.

I had a few minutes and created (yes!) a page (yes!)  - yes!!!

Its only one (yes: 1...) song. Last time Barry said that I might have an idea to complete Zoot Allures - so I will! Hopefully...

So I made 1 song, Wind up Working etc etc, and I 'll have some comments, too. Later.

Just fininshed the album Zoot Allures - lyrics, notes, etc. Hope it works - corrections welcome! I used FZlyrics (I mean I stole from there...)

note:

Well, this wiki is sometimes seems a bit difficult to me... It would be nice that after you read the lyrics of a song, you could follow the album with the next song: perfect example: FZlyrics). Here at the wiki you cannot do that - you have to go beck to the album and choose the next song. But: if a song did appear only on 1 album, than it might not have an "albums on which this song released" note, so sometimes its not easy even to go back to the album itself!! (Friendly Little Finger, for example.)

When you're at a certain song, the category "singles" are sometimes between the "albums" and sometimes between "notes". Where do you think it should be?

I really miss some pictures... Is there a way to put some in there? Album covers, at least.

We've had some discussion going on at the wiki about whether or not to put up copyrighted material there.

contra: what if we get sued for "illegitimately" copying copyrighted material

pro: the wiki is by no means a commercial endeavour and has a disclaimer stating that anyone who feels their copyright has been violated can contact any of us and we shall take proper action; original material (articles, interviews) would obviously broaden the scope of the wiki.

We're still not quite out of that debate yet - but it's an important issue obviously... so feel free to express your thoughts on it (oh, and your Moon article can stay up, no worries!)

pro: and what about song lyrics? What about the Varése-article? And (hopefully?) all the interviews and stuff?

I dont think that Moon's article is the only one that is copyrighted - and if you/we decide not to publish copyrighted material there, that it will be only some blank, empty space...

We started out with one template, and then came another, and then yet another... These things just happen when you're building up something (you can't always get it right the first time)... And that is why some pages do not follow the latest "standard" (because they were created before the latest "standard")... Feel free to correct them (nobody will bite you)... or just wait and see 'til somebody else does...
