What's "I Don't Even Care" about?
« on: November 26, 2004, 11:33:23 AM »

 Huh
(words by Johnny Guitar Watson)
I kind of recall this protest-singalong pop song about South Africa that went "I-I-I... ain't gonna play Sun City-y-y-!", that might have happened around that time (1985), but this is just a guess... And even then I still don't know how to interpret those lyrics (if they're anything else than absurd)...

Wow, the same quetion I was wondering about here:

Guac answered me, which seems to be correct:

"I'm not at all sure what it's all about - I'd kind of assumed that Johnny Guitar Watson was just ad-libbing his words as he went along.

The Cow Jumped Over the Moon is from a childrens nursery rhyme :-"

It seems to be true, because it sounds like it was about something, but on the other hand these are just words to sing, to say something.
Maybe.
