question about bobby martin

ok just trying to find what show this was. I saw martin do a vocal solo that was incredible seem to last forever but i dont know what show it was i was over someones house and saw it on vhs but i cant remember what show it was he did this on i know it was the ike willis chad wackerman lineup.

Well, not much to go on there but could it possibly have been "Whipping Post" from the NY Pier show - available on "Does Humor (sic) Belong In Music ?"

Anyway, yeah, I agree -- you're almost certainly thinking of the 1984 concert version of that Allman Brothers cover song.

nope wasn't that concert i have that one they played a bunch of beatles songs on it and ike willis had a stuffed walrus on stage too with him mabye sometime in 1988

I have the Barcelona show, and i remember the Beatles songs, and there's a great rendition of Whippin' Post with Bobby Martin, but i can't remember the stuffed walrus...Maybe it was there, but i should check before...

Could also be referring to Martin's 'And a big old credenzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' on Planet of the Baritone Women in 1988.
