Just had to drop in here... s'been awhile.

I was listening to WRMF today and had to bust up laughing for about 3 minutes.
It was the 'play your harmonica son' bit toward the end of 'prelude to a sexually aroused gas-mask' with all the snorking and the MAVEN! oh that's funny...Half of the music on that album has me cracking up (especially the instrumentals...)

A highly underated album in general I think. Chalk full of audio/lyrical irony and an interpretion of the trepidation in the late 60's world Zappa saw.

Also to avoid another post, and to check in with this small quiet community I will tell you all that I have dropped AA but haven't drank since I realized alcohol was completely fucking up my whole deal.
And though you may not realize it, this forum was  part of my transformation. As we are all part of your transformation.

I aggree, a really good album, but one thing i don't like about the album is the title track "Weasels Ripped My Flesh", I can't get myself to listen to the whole track...

I feel your pain there. Tho I enjoy all of the music on WRMF, I rarely listen to the entire recording as it stands. I have most of the songs spread out over several CD compilations (for a clue to what I refer, visit: http://www.thebignote.com/archived/cat_graphic_effect.php [watch the wrap] and click on either one of the "Hit Parade" links) and I really prefer them in this manner over the WRMF release itself.
I should go back and listen again tho'. Like Dogbreath says, "s'been awhile".
