okay, I saw this yesterday in a stupid little free flyer at some juice bar somewhere OUT THERE... "Electric Squirrels" This does nothing but evoke the horrific image of squirrels (our little friends of the (short) forest) missing a step on an electrical wire and... oh the pain! the pain!!! damn those electric squirrels... BUT the coolest band name I have ever heard has to be... BEARDED WEIRDO (I love the alliteration and the image it provokes..., I have known many a bearded weirdo in my life..., and we all know and love a particularly good example of a bearded weirdo in our buddy Roy Estrada...  Oh! and let's not forget the guy {I'm terrible with names...boohoohoo...  <-- affectation ala Jumbo Go Away...fyi...) who did all that claymation stuff...he was definately a very nice example of a bearded weirdo, and he seemed genuinely nice too, nice and focused... Alice Donut is a pretty silly name for a band. They're surprisingly good though.
I record stuff under the name giant albino penguin, and the one time I got played on the radio the DJ chap nearly pissed himself laughing. Sort of ruined the dignity of the occasion.

We had a song called Barbra Bush's Big Brown Eye.
