Goddammit!!!! Why weren't there FZ shows in a time when I was old enough to go! How could you leave something like that behind and not make sure you could live to at 60 something! I die when I think of what you could have done when I listen Civilation III (not to diminish your other works which I find fan-fucking-tastic. I'm a selfish bastard and I want to have been there with you somewhere in the crowd seeing you and boys lay it down...
I've been loving your music for the last 10 years and I finally realized you were gone when I saw a small jazz group do a tribute show (they played all the hard stuff man!!!!) and the front man who played all the solos on electric violin said " I wish Frank could be here" I just had a youthful wish for you to walk on stage right then saying "whaddaya say, you ready" I guess I'm still in the anger phase of mourning our (read our as fan's and you) collective loss. Oh well, broken hearts are for assholes... Hope there are cigarettes in Sub-Etha Goodbye Frank

Goddammit!!!! A very likely possibility, tho' nothing tangible as of yet... Hello to you too, Dogbreath Why weren't there FZ shows in a time when I was old enough to go! I had other shit happening, sorry... How could you leave something like that behind and not make sure you could live to at 60 something! Living isn't all it's cracked up to be, Dogbreath... I die when I think of what you could have done when I listen Civilation III However, there's no need to hurry. You'll get here... Oh well, broken hearts are for assholes... I'm glad you feel that way - even out of context... There's a lot of stuff out there - absorb it ALL. That should keep you happy into your golden years... And do NOT dwell on my passing - or ANYONE else's, for that matter. It is a true waste of positive energy. Remember what's cool and keep the energy flowing! Thanks for writing... Frankie

Frankie, I must apologize for the rude greeting, and for the basic lack of content therefollowing; I know you where about three steps beyond a musical genius, and aside from that a solid general and political intellectual, and I have appreciated just about everything you have ever said on the record. To get back to my semicolin I must say that I have my fair share of problems and I know that death will alleviate them into something I can either understand or don't care about, depentding on the result of said death.
All that I can do is play the music I feel I have to make and go on with my squallid life nomatter how shitty it gets.(I know that may be a ridiculous sentence to our English 2ND language readers..) I'm sure you did the same for years before you had the opportunity to be played in a respected bar, let alone recorded. Basically I am trynig to say that If I ever "Make It" Frank Zappa will be the first on the list of influencss I might put in the liner notes..
Human beings are strange things, as I am sure you knew/know. Ithink that the great feeing your recordings have left me with is Love....(THE BIG NOTE) Love for your music, and the soul that I could clearly see therein. I would never dwell on your death...We all awake from the dream.... At any rate, Peace out, Frank. I'm sure you are in a state a Peace. and if you are reincarnated please be the African Sulcata tortoise I just bought.. Thanks for reading Frankie, and thanks for reading forum-goers... Thou art God......

Frankie, Hello again, Dogbreath, I must apologize for the rude greeting, and for the basic lack of content therefollowing; No problem with the greeting... Many folks figure a non-corporeal entity doesn't require the same ammenities as those physical beings - and to some extent, they're right. And your post did not lack content. It may have been clouded by outside stimuli, but there was content. I know you where about three steps beyond a musical genius, and aside from that a solid general and political intellectual, and I have appreciated just about everything you have ever said on the record. You're entirely too kind... For the record, I said most of my best stuff off the record. I must say that I have my fair share of problems and I know that death will alleviate them into something I can either understand or don't care about, depentding on the result of said death. Leaving the corporeal doesn't alleviate corporeal problems - it just makes them non-corporeal... The 'baggage' doesn't get any easier to understand. And "not caring" isn't exactly right either, though the attitude DOES change, thanks to the lack of 'want'. You mentioned "Cigarettes in the sub-etha"; no smokes, and no desire to smoke, here. There's no want, nothing, zip. All that I can do is play the music I feel I have to make and go on with my squallid life nomatter how shitty it gets. If you're making music, Dogbreath, than you are well ahead of many who do not have that gift... Around my section of the ethers, we say "Music is being; the rest is just details". Basically I am trynig to say that If I ever "Make It" Frank Zappa will be the first on the list of influencss I might put in the liner notes.. Again, you are too kind. Thank you. Just like there's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over. there's a big difference between making music, and "making it" in music. When you begin to worry more about the "success" - or lack - of the music you make, you start to loose the value of what you're actually making... I always made music for me. Sure, it was a bonus when others enjoyed it - but that was never why I made the music in the first place. 'Make it' for yourself; "making it" will come, if it's meant to. If "making it" doesn't happen, you will still have spent your corporeal time valuably. I would never dwell on your death...We all awake from the dream.... That is the most honest and eloquent thing I've read in this forum to date, Dogbreath. There's more "content" in that phrase than in 95% of the drivel that passes for content here. Peace out, Frank. I'm sure you are in a state a Peace. and if you are reincarnated please be the African Sulcata tortoise I just bought... Heh-heh; sorry to have to burst your bubble on that one, Dogbreath... Thanks for reading Frankie, and thanks for reading forum-goers... Thou art God...... No - that one I must counter. We call it the CEO - Cosmic Energy Omnipresent. The CEO is, and always has been. It has never been corporeal, no matter what you may have read. Some day, you'll return to the Energy, and return to understanding. The corporeal existence begins with understanding, then it's "learned" out of you and you don't get it back until you leave the corporeal... Thanks for writing, Frankie
