I listened to two shows yesterday.

The 1988-05-06 Hamburg show. This was this weeks Friday Boot, a very good show in almost excellent AUD sound quality and new to me. I very much enjoyed this show: the setlist is musically interesting, and because of the good sound quality you are able to hear the fine interplay between the musicians - you can even hear Chad's  filigran hi-hat playing. The under-used secret word for this show is: Albanian Jizz Weasel.

I also enjoyed listening to the 1984-11-23-Early show in Chicago. Another good quality AUD boot. Some great music here also.

Lets see if I have time to listen to some other shows today.

Well, I found time to listen to another good sound quality boot yesterday, the 1978-02-15 Berlin show.

This very good SBD boot features one of my favourite Zappa line-ups, with the Bozzio and O'Hearn rythym-section and Adrian Belew as second guitar-player and lead singer. I found this boot 2 weeks ago, but had not listened to it yet. I was astounded by the sound quality, the setlist and the power of the performance. When I compare this to Sheik YerBouti, I prefer the boot.

AND welcome Harmless Ted. I enjoyed your reviews. I am sorry that I do not have the patience to do reviews but what the hey.

Much Frank material can be found on this site- just sign up for a vine and eventually one will show up at your door.

Now it seems that I do not have 1984-11-23-Early show in Chicago in my repertoire........... Roll Eyes        K

You don't have the 1984 Chicago shows? Then you might want to point your browser at this thread at the Guitars101 forum.

I listened to two shows yesterday evening and well into the night:
1981-10-31 early and late shows

These shows are both in SBD A quality. The 1981/82 band is defintely my favourite line-up. And on this Halloween night the band played two shows with complete different setlists providing the listener with five hours of pure musical entertainment.  Smiley
