Jeez, how can you not like Zeppelin? Anyway, except for rap, modern R&B, country, and modern pseudo-country, which I hate across the board, the following songs are so bad that they make me angry, and I feel like hunting down their writers and plucking their eyes out with sporks. Morning Train -- Sheena Easton (It made me angry even to TYPE that. Rrrrrrr.) High Hopes -- anyone MacArthur Park -- Richard Harris We Are the World -- USA for Africa Loving You -- some helium woman American Pie -- Don McLean I Don't Eat Animals -- Melanie In the Year 2525 -- some '60s band I'm Your Puppet -- " " " In the Ghetto -- Elvis Presley Jeez, I could go on for a really long time.

Chris, out of curiousity: do you rabidly hate ALL that is country? I for instance have been a long time Neil Young fan, which could be considered folk/country/rock. I also have a weak spot for the JayHawks which is another one of those folk/country-rock cross-overs; as are Johnny Cash, Los Lobos, Ryan Adams, as are 16 Horsepower to an extent. I'll even admit to liking some genuine Hank Williams ditties. Geez, I feel almost dirty typing it out in this forum

I have a soft spot for very early country: Johnny Cash, Patsy, Elvis, Carl, all that great rockabilly stuff. Sun Records had a fantastic catalogue. Beyond that, I'm afraid it doesn't do anything for me. Sorry to generalize like I did, but I really wanted to get to my list, because I HATE "Morning Train." Incidentally, you'll find that among the subject most passionately, fervently, even antagonistically discussed by people, "worst songs" is a topic that's definitely up there in the top 3.

Goddamn I jes loove me some Hank Williams, but have you heard Johnny Cash's new album? It makes me want to curl up underneath a bridge and drink whiskey from a jar until and shoot smack its that depressing, good, but sad to the extreme I also love the High Hopes song you refer to. Also music I hate as well: that new wave evangelist rock crap or anyone who whines and plays a guitar should be shot...dead and fake mtv punk shit...Joey Ramone is rolling in his grave everytime a SUM41 video is played And I want to get a penicillin shot after seeing miss aguilara And Danzig after he left the Misfits (bitchinest band ever)

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. -FZ-
