About half an hour ago, my unemployed nextdoor neighboor rang my doorbell and asked me if by chance I hadn’t erroneously received her<\/i> wellfare check in my mailbox. I did<\/i> vaguely recall shredding up several letters because they were not adressed to me, and throwing them away. Half a ton of cat litter and expired TV-dinners later, the wellfare check has been returned to the rightful owner. All three shreds of it.
