Posts made during working hours from my part will probably be scarce in the next couple of days, as my ComputerWorkStation (a 9500 PowerMac) seems to have bit the big one today. For four years I’ve been working with this hard-disk which I lovingly dubbed Stinkfoot<\/i>. Today it decided to permanently make like a tree. As if that weren’t enough, no less than three workspace server disk volumes also got fried on the same day\u2014it must’ve been the 33\u00b0C conditions, as described earlier, that did it. The late server-volumes were named (and I ask for a minute of commemorative silence here): BongoFury, UncleMeat and MuffinMan.
