Dubya&#8217;s use of religion to justify war, I came across Bob Marshall&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcluhaninstitute.org\/baedeker\/bobs_articles\/zappa_interview-01.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"This interview took place during a 7-hour visit with the very hospitable Frank Zappa at his home between 8:00P.M., Oct.21 and 3:00 A.M., Oct.22, 1988.\">1988 interview with FZ<\/a>, which I had read a couple of years back. Rather than to continue my googling, I ended up reading the interview in its entirety. It is a wonderful expos\u00e9 of Frank Zappa&#8217;s razor sharp intellect, packed with great quotes and insights. It just made me realize that, with all the shit going on, Music Is The Best.<br \/>(Interesting aside: the interview pages are hosted on the site of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcluhaninstitute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marshall McLuhan institute<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kirjasto.sci.fi\/mcluhan.htm\" target=\"_blank\">McLuhan<\/a> made a special appearance in Woody Allen&#8217;s Academy Awarded film <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Title?0075686\" target=\"_blank\">Annie Hall (1977)<\/a> where Allen, playing Alvy, silences a self-impressed McLuhan expert in a movie line by pulling McLuhan out of a poster to tell the man, &#8220;You know nothing of my work!&#8221; I love that movie!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While doing some research with regard to this Yahoo-article on G.
