even more boringnow.

Ravel just wrote a score ( in 1928) without modulation ( against Wagner), in ut major ( against Schoenberg), and in one rythm ( against Stravinsky).

Peace on earth. It's about people, humans.

Compare FZ with F. Ravel. You might have noticed that FZ played Ravel's Bolero. R. 's most popular score.

Bolero was Ravel's trick to survive. It's just one of his minor scores.
Why did Ravel compose Bolero? Strictly commercial, way back then.

My god, what did I do? I didn' t want to be congratulated.
I just wanted to say that I was happy to sign the petition. That's to be done by people of all possible ages.
Why? Do I reiterate an argument when I say that - for instance for a kid 13/14 years old - listening to FZ is very instructive. It's a mind opener, a genuine Open Your Ears Festival.

It opens a whole catalogue, a much broader area, ranging from Eric Dolphy to 50's R&B, from Stravinsky to Louis/ Louis, from Varèse to Italian Music, from Rock business to Conlon Nancarrow, etc., etc. .
And, yes, Magic Fingers, I fully agrre : there's a lot of wisdom in the Hatfields & The North ( i e FZ implemented in the UK without theatre) saying : FZ that's multirythmetics and theatre. Those guys ( when 17 - 18 ) started playing ( their own words) " That Cord, it's a Green Minor, 9th Trapezium".

My guess is that present day US ( ironically combining a bad education system for most of its youngsters and the most performing universities) did not yet discover FZ as an educationalist, as a prof pedagogics.

bernard (alias Waldorf), think about it, you made it further in age, than Zappa did. Five kids you have. Did you plant a tree yet? How´s about a book? Finally, hope you have had a nice D-Day.

Yours truly,
Stadler

P.S. How´s your prostate?
