I like her art work, when seen in historical perspective. Some of her songs are good as well. She was a big positive influence on John.
Granted, thrice granted
But “A small eternity with Yoko Ono” only gets play time in my house if I want to crack up my five year old daughter. She thinks it’s hilarious. (Time to google up Litanies of Satan by Diamanda Galas, it’s out there somewhere. THAT is a much more interesting aproach to avant garde use of voice).

C’mon…Yoko isn’t all that bad. Besides her musical contributions to the world of art, just look at her other accomplishments: selling John Lennon’s name to a shoe manufacturer, being one hell of a business woman, and dodging bullets while her spouse is standing right next to her. Wow. But in this video, she was a good sport!

According to Miles’ bio, Frank was pretty pissed about Yoko’s wailing as it did disrupt the band’s performance. Which is a shame because that first number, “Baby Please Dont Go” was a great set-up for a blistering 20 minute encore.

I was at the early show, and enjoyed it quite a bit, but John and
Yoko did their thing at the late show…
Back then I did not drive, so I had to rely on others, who usually
preferred an early show !
