By the way I was thinking for the first time: FZ was a genuine Italian , ie he played staccato where everybody was expecting him to play legato.

Yes, on the video that Barry added here (recording session at the Apostolic), that’s “Invocation etc.”. The videos I was writing about are among the others that Ed Seeman posted on YouTube.

Is it just me or Mr. Seeman’s using some pretty clean-sounding chunks of the all-orchestral Lumpy Gravy on two of his other videos uploaded on YouTube ? (namely “The Zappa Dummy” and “At Home in Greewich Village 1967″)
