The problem with hooking up to something like that is the 250 “best”. I mean, who’s to say really? A couple of my favorite actors were totally overlooked.
Looking at the list, you’ve seen far more of them then I; I’m not a movie kind of Guy…
Weren’t there 3 Star Wars films listed?

Heheh, I knew that would catch your attention! To my defense: I’ve seen bits ‘n pieces of “A Night at the Opera”, but never the whole thing — “A Streetcar Named Desire”: ditto.

I too have a thing for Johnny Depp (in a non-sexual way of course! cough — not that there’s anything wrong with that!); the pirate movie is definitely on my ToSee List.

As for those 30s movies… rhmmm… bit too much sugar for my taste…

Hey Sofa, why don’t you sign up on that site and give us a look at the movies you’ve seen? I’d be interested to compare our lists. That goes for everyone else too!

Shame on you! (they’re brilliant, and worth watching, Bro)
A few others to consider (I don’t normally recommend movies to anyone, but dammit these are too brilliant):
201. A Streetcar Named Desire
121. Cool Hand Luke
156. The Grapes of Wrath
Some of the finest acting you’ll ever experience, IMO; these movies “made” their stars.
223. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (okay, I have a “thing” for Johnny Dep {I’m also fond of chiffon in a wrist array} and this isn’t “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?” - which is brilliant - but this is a good movie)
And because of the holidays, 30. It’s a Wonderful Life & 149. A Christmas Story. There’s a ton of unwatchable crap of TV and we get to relive the Holiday crap every year, but these two films are quite enjoyable - at least, I’ve seen them multiple times, and wouldn’t groan if I had to sit thru them again. Kinda like The Wizard of Oz, you can watch it - hell, quote it, memorize it - several times and still enjoy it.
