And yet half the American electorate apparently intend to vote for him again! Maybe if this election turns out to be a farce just like the last one, there will be some effort made to reform the electoral system so that dangerous idiots can’t rig the outcome!

Hold on now; that’s half of the “expected” voters - not half of the electorate (which includes those eligible, who do not vote). The key to this election will be to incite those ‘non - voters’ to vote.

I thought so too, SOFA. I heard on the news this morning (so it must be true!) that a record number of people have already registered to vote for this election. There is hope…

Wasn’t it Nixon who said “Hope is the opiate of the masses.”? Anyhoo, whatever we, the plebnista, think needs to happen is most likely the least likely thing to happen…..
