Last night I dreamt I attended a Neil Young-concert. Not the present day Young but the shabby, dark, seventies version of the man played a hell of a set; upon which I was invited back-stage where we had a beer and Young signed my copy of “Time Fades Away“. Tonight I think I’ll be attending one of the Roxy era gigs. Maybe chat a little with FZ afterwards.

Lucky you.
Oh but it’s easy! Just fall asleep thinking of a certain album and you’re halfway there…
You should not be eating those McGriddle Breakfast Sandwiches before bedtime. Their evil is very slow-working. You start out having pleasant dream experiences, but before you know it you are traveling down a dark scary hallway leading to the backstage of a Lemon Pipers concert. You are greeted by a roadie in a burger costume, strapped into an oversized wooden chair and forced to listen as the band tries to reproduce it’s hit song, “Green Tambourine”. The electronics fail, and the band continues to sing and play without the aid of electronic reverb, jiggling their throats to reproduce the sound of the recording.
You wake in a cold sweat fearful of what the next night’s slumber will bring. I’ve been there, Barry dude, it’s a scary place, man!! Stop now before it’s too late.
Personally, I don’t dream… But, I ran across this site that had some excellent accounts of this phenomenon:
