Anyone know why it’s called “the bird” ?.
In the UK derisive whistling is known as “the bird”.

I remember the first time I saw that picture of Mickey. It was on a pre-printed card someone left on my dad’s car when I was about 9 years old. And for some reason, I still vividly recall exactly what it said,
“Thanks for parking too close to my car, asshole! Next time leave a can opener so I can open my fucking door!”
…perhaps it was my first shocking experience with cursewords or something, or the fact that dad still keeps that old card in his wallet (perhaps hoping to give it back someday).
