Sorry folks, appears the link has failed - here’s the gist of it; Paul Kelleher,37, who is a single parent, was jailed yesterday for three months for knocking the head off a statue of ex-PM Margaret Thatcher. He said in his defence that he was helping to protect his son by drawing attention to the dangers facing the world. The jury rejected his claim that he had a “lawful excuse” for the act.

If ever one person has succeeded in both (a) NOT representing and (b) silencing public opinion, it has to be M. Thatcher. Her influence continues to this day. For instance: don’t mention “New Labour” to me unless you enjoy watching me crack up in laughter. New Labour? A-heheh! Mrs Thatcher would be so pleased with the way Blair is behaving these days…
