If you're reading this, it means the forum's software upgrade from Yabbse SE to SMF worked out fine. Yabbse SE was okay for a couple of years, but then development on it stopped around 2003 and we got stuck with a piece of software that just wasn't up to the challenges of spam and fake member sign-ups.

SMF has powerful tools to fight exactly that, and has the added bonus of incorporating some extra features such as users being able to choose their own "forum theme", and much more. Check your user profile and play around there for a bit -- you'll see what I mean.

For now, new member sign-ups have been set so that they must be approved by The KUR Forum Team (*cough* me *cough*). Please let me know if you notice any weirdness happening when signing in or surfing the boards.
