PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME BEFORE THERE IS A CONSENSUS ON THE PROPOSED SUBJECT MATTER… Thank you, and sorry for the shouting...

My suggestion is to create a page (probably a category would be better) - "Reviewer's Corner" (or whatever you might want to call it) - linked from the "Main Page". On this page an automatic listing would be created (like any category does) of pages ("articles") that need attention from the reviewers (whoever - whomever? - they may be).
Thus, pages could be categorized as:
"
For Review" - If you want someone else to check, double-check and maybe fix some details (that you're not entirely sure about), tag the page with [].
"
For Completion" - If you think an article is almost finished, but it needs a, er, finishing touch, you can tag a page with [].
"
For Research" - If you're sure you heard a bell (ring, chime, bell,...), but you don't know were to find the clapper (the metal striker that hangs inside a bell and makes a sound by hitting the side - also called the "tongue"), tag the page with [].
Also:
"stubbed" articles (pages carrying the tag "stub") could be listed here (see elsewhere on this forum – "Bend over and spread 'em: here come the stubs!").
And, of course, the concept could be extended to topics like: "
To Do", and whatever you can think of...
People who "fix" the problem can comment on the "talk" section of the page, or (because these comments tend to be overlooked) they can just remove the tag.
I think this "modus operandus" could be very convenient, because sometimes - amidst a myriad of changes - messages on the "talk" section of a page get lost...
Don't be too worried about the "professional" look of write-ups with requests to review / research...; it's much more useful to have these requests, than to have inaccuracies and false information. It's also much easier for others to spot that something needs looking into, if the page has been tagged that way.
Note: tags like these should be placed at the beginning (top) of the page, not at the end (bottom), home of the more regular tags.
Yes, you can call me "Mr. Category" now, if you want...
