A virtual garbage truck for better waste management

Sometimes pages at the Wiki get obsolete. And you want them to be deleted. But you can’t.

When I want a page to be deleted, I remove all of its content, and before "saving" the changes (i.e. before clicking the "save" button), I write the message "This page may be DELETED" in the comment box.

If the bureaucrat in charge sees the message, he will delete the page, and add a comment to the deletion log: "(deleted pagename: Deleted as per user request)".

If the bureaucrat in charge does not see the message, the page keeps floating around in the Wiki Universe...

Most of the time the bureaucrat in charge sees the message. Sometimes - amidst a myriad of changes - messages get lost...

My suggestion is to tag pages for deletion with [[[Category:For Deletion]]] or [[[Category:Virtual Garbage Truck]]], or something else...

Please do NOT register this as a complaint, but merely a suggestion to improve the workings of the Wiki! Thank you.
