What's your opinion of Ahmet?

A while back I saw Ahmet host a robot wars show.  Bloody embarrasing.  Does his name get him gigs like that?

Similarly, I saw Henry Rollins hosting a show (maybe British) along the same ilk as Robotica.  Either way, don't these people have underlings that can tell them that hosting these shows is a bad career move?

I guess you have to pay the bills somehow but jeesh, have some respect for yourself.

Ok, back from the tangent, has Ahmet done anything worth while?

Funny you should ask about Ahmet.  I did a google search on fruitcake Zappa and what popped up - cookingwithbigfoot.com - Ahmet has his picture in the beginning of the show.

Something tells me he's beyond caring about "career moves" by now. What's a robot wars show, anyway? A cartoon or something?

I think what is being referred to is a tv program where a batch of people design and create small robots and then set them lose to fight each other until only one is left standing.  Kinda of like Sat morning wrestling for nerds.
